Follow me as I visit Test Cricket Grounds around the World, plus many others.

Countries covered so far on this journey: England, Wales, United Arab Emirates, Australia, New Zealand, South Africa, Zimbabwe, United States of America, Cayman Islands, Barbados, Sri Lanka, Dominica, St. Lucia, St. Vincent, Grenada, Antigua, St. Kitts, Jamaica.

 

In what started out as a 'Bucket List' trip during the 2019 World Cup in England & Wales, I took my father to watch 3 matches, and while there we decided to drive a thousand plus miles visiting all 18 County Grounds over a 4-day period !

Covid came in 2020-2021, and reminded us that life is precious.. So 2022 for my 50th birthday, I decided to pursue this crazy goal... The first trip that year was to the United Arab Emirates, the home of ICC, and the Dubai, Sharjah and Abu Dhabi Grounds. ​Next was Australia for the 2022 Men's T20 World Cup, followed by a hop, skip, and a jump over to New Zealand.

The first trip for 2023 was to South Africa, with Zimbabwe nestled somewhere in there. 2023 also included visits to Grounds around the USA, including the historic ones in the greater Philadelphia area. That year also saw me visiting the Cayman Islands, the first of the Caribbean Grounds on this adventure.

2024 started off with the temporary Stadium in New York, followed by Barbados for the T20 Men's World Cup Final. Next was a return trip to the UAE for the Women's T20 World Cup, but with Sri Lanka sandwiched in. ​Then it was time for West Indies, beginning with island hopping to the Test Grounds in the Windward Islands i.e. Dominica, St. Lucia, St. Vincent, and Grenada. The Leeward Islands followed next with Antigua and St. Kitts.

The last trip for 2024 was a return "home" to Jamaica !

​

2025 will start off with XXX, any guesses ?? It was Pakistan !
